Super Eagles of Nigeria prolific and versatile dazzler, Samuel Chukwueze was impressive yesterday for Quique Setien led Villarreal team in their 36th league game of the current Spanish La Liga Santander campaign against Cadiz CF at the Estadio de la Ceramica.
The 24 year old football maestro and Nigerian international started the game from the bench due to tactical reason but was introduced in the second half for Gerard Moreno, and he was able to play his part and and also contributed his quota with his impactful minutes spent on the pitch of play.
Samuel Chukwueze after his introduction into the game was a big threat for the Yellow Submarine in the opposition box where he made some clinical moves, which were instrumental in the crucial win that boost their hope of a Champions League spot alive.
Two first half goals from Nicolas Jackson scored in the 20th and 45th minute respectively gave the host a double lead going into the half time break which ended two goals to nil.
The tempo of the game in the second half got tensed up as they both put up some physical, tactical and technical displays but none was able to found the back of the net, with all attempts to add more to the tally of the game proving abortive as it ended two goals to nil at full time.
Samuel Chukwueze with his great influx of influence in the thrilling encounter will be hoping to maintain the standard for his team in their next game as they continue their pursuit in the competition.
