One of the trending topics online is when a guy or girl is supposed to leave their father’s house. Nigerian video jockey, Adams Ibrahim Adebola, popularly known as Vj Adams has also talked about the issue. He said you should not be thinking about leaving your father’s house if you are 17 to 18 years old.
He shared a video on his Instagram page where he made the statement, “If you are 17 to 18 I don’t know why you are in a hurry to leave the house”.

He said it might destroy your plans in the nearest future. Imagine you are paying 3 million naira for an apartment every year. In the next 10 years that will be 30 million. If you stayed in your father’s house for that 10 years and gathered the money, you could use it to get an apartment or better still properly decorate the apartment you rented.
He said in his case it’s different. They had to move closer to where their business is. If they hadn’t needed to move to be close to their business, he sees no reason why they should be thinking of moving out.
