The Director General of the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Authority, (NaFAA) Emma Glassco has disclosed that Liberia is open to both investment proposals and technical cooperation, especially in the Fisheries sector.
“Liberia is open to both investment proposals and technical cooperation, especially in the country Fisheries sector,” she said.
Speaking Friday, February 24, 2023 during a courtesy meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Korea to Liberia, Kim Young-Chae, madam Glassco emphasized the strong relationship that existed between Liberia and Korea since their formation as independent nations.
During the courtesy meeting, both parties recognized the strong cordial relationship that has existed between both countries and agreed to ensure that said relationship is sustained and strengthened.
Additionally, South Korea Ambassador Extraordinary Plenipotentiary to Liberia, Kim Young-Chae, was accompanied by a delegation including a Fisheries Investor Mr. Sun Lee Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Grand Bleu SA.
Meanwhile, Mr. Sun Lee, CEO of Grand Bleu, SA, expressed his company’s interest in Liberia Fisheries, specifically, the Tuna Fisheries and is expected to flag a tuna vessel under the Liberian Flag.
