Nicolas Cage and wife Riko Shibata
Veteran Hollywood actor, Nicolas Cage, and his 27-year-old Japanese wife, Riko Shibata, have welcomed their first child together.
PEOPLE first reported about Shibata giving birth, citing a representative of Mr. Cage, aged 58.
The PEOPLE’S report sighted by www.africanentertainment.com, revealed that the coup welcomed their baby daughter, full name August Francesca Coppola Cage, at a hospital in Los Angeles on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.
The report cited Cage’s representative as sayingis the “mother and daughter are doing fine.”
The baby-girl is Riko’s first child and Mr. Cage’s’ third. Mr Cage already has son Weston Coppola Cage, 31, with ex Christina Fulton and son Kal-El, 16, with ex-wife Alice Kim.
It would be recalled that Mr. Cage and Rico met in Japan in 2020 when he was filming Sion Sono’s Prisoners Of Ghostland. Rico later landed a role in the movie playing one of the four Mannequin Women.
The pair later got engaged on FaceTime, and married at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas in February 2021.
